The Herd

Cardinal Cattle Co. currently has Texas Pride as a herd sire, and CCC Swagger as our Junior herd sire.  We look forward to seeing what sort of calves they provide us with.

Great babies make great herds, and great babies start with great mamas.  Our foundation cows trace their genetics to the great Leonidas bull at Moriah Farms.

There is something special about watching a beautiful, young heifer calf mature and prepare for her first baby as she grows and develops in our grassy pastures.

Perhaps the most exciting part of breeding Texas Longhorns are the calves.  You never know what your going to get, and every one of them is cute in their own way.

Good lookin' colors and great lookin' horns.    There's nothing like having morning coffee on the porch and watching a few good looking steers stroll by.
