We purchased Texas Pride from the Ohlendorfs at Rocking O Longhorns - his build and horns are fantastic, but what first caught our attention was his disposition.  Ross and I were talking about several bulls and Texas Pride wandered up, and just stood around us within about 10 yards, not making any threatening moves or angling for space.  He stood still just joining in as part of the conversation.  Texas Pride has passed this demeanor on to all of his progeny on our ranch, along with outstanding weaning weights and great horn potential.  He is just an overall easy bull to keep around.  We are looking to keep a good handful of his heifers from his most recent, and last year's calf crops, and as such, we are open to selling him to the right person.
